Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
